All of these are illegal, unauthorized vinyl bootleg releases. Most of them have been printed in very small quantities, usually no more than thousand copies of each.

Guitar Vanguard
Recorded live apparently in Nagoya, Japan on December 7th 1976, although the sleeve says November. Note: There are multiple different variations of this bootleg out there, with different colored insert sleeves and with different labels. It is possible that some variations are literally unique, while there certainly are multiple copies of some other variations. There are apparently three major different editions - or printings if you prefer - of this bootleg. The first one has rather detailed A4 sized insert sleeve. The second one has a clearly less detailed, photocopied A4 insert sleeve. And the third one has also an insert sleeve, but roughly an LP sleeve sized one as can be seen below. It is very likely that all these different editions originally came from the same bootleg manufacturer, possibly based on somewhere in California. The bootlegger used many different labels around 1976-1978 timeframe - Ruthless Rhymes, Duck Records, Dragonfly Records and GLC were among the labels used by this same bootlegger. Many discographies (including this one until April 2006) list the first editions being German bootlegs while the 2nd and 3rd either Japanese or German. That is rather unlikely. Starting from June, 2008 onwards, I've listed all the different 1st editions under one entry in the discography. There are so many different versions of these 1st editions that it does not make sense to list them all here. This first edition is very common and most likely there is more or less uncountable number of combinations with different color insert sleeves and labels. It also might be so that the 2nd and 3rd editions were actually released in different order; the 2nd edition is worse quality one than the 3rd edition. All the 2nd edition copies seem to have identical bubbles, dents and other defects in the vinyl, i.e. they have been pressed with the same set of masters. Because the 3rd edition is again the same quality as the 1st edition, there must either be at least 2 sets of masters (unlikely with bootlegs) or the 3rd edition actually precedes the 2nd edition. |

This is the first edition of the bootleg. Comes in a blank white cardboard cover with an insert sleeve of a certain color. See the note above about different versions of this bootleg. |
