Geoff Nicholls was born on February 29th, but the year is not known. He
joined the band originally to replace
Geezer Butler
, but when Butler
rejoined the band, Nicholls became the keyboardist for them. He had
previously played with a band called
Quartz
. Since his joining Black Sabbath he has remained with them - and therefore
being the longest-remaining member after
Tony Iommi
.
