Elf toured in the UK and USA as a warming-up band for Deep Purple in 1972. The dates below have mainly been taken from Deep Purple's tour schedules, but they sometimes differ from the dates given elsewhere. Elf also played with Uriah Heep at some shows; most of those shows are missing. Many claim that Elf warmed up for Deep Purple in December 1972 too, but it looks like that the last show Elf did with Purple in 1972 was in Kansas City, MO. This is confirmed by a Ronnie James Dio interview in the US magazine "Rock" in late 1972.
