In 2000 Deep Purple did a Concerto tour with George Enescu's Philharmonic Orchestra from Romania. Ronnie James Dio was with them and sang four songs (Sitting In A Dream, Love Is All, Fever Dreams and Rainbow In The Dark) as well as participated on the Smoke On The Water encore.
The orchestra in South America was local orchestra there, and in Mexico they used local orchestra as well.
The Concerto tour continued also in 2001 with at two concerts in Japan, featuring the Shin Nihon Philharmonic Orchestra and the special guest Ronnie James Dio.
