The following is a review of the first Dio show on the Angry Machines tour, originally posted to alt.music.dio. Republished here with permission from the author. I had to edit the layout a little bit for better outlook on web, but all the information is still intact.

I went to The Roxy Last night and it was great. The crowd gave Ronnie the warmest reception. After the band had left the stage the crowd kept chanting "Dio! Dio!" until the band came back and played two "bonus tracks". Ronnie put on a baseball cap with a NY Yankees logo when he sang "Mob Rules". Looked like he got the cap from somebody in the audience.
The drum solo was great. Plus they had really cool light show with the drum solo, and much attention was paid to the lighting overall.
The guitar solo was, well... I can't really say that my cat plays guitar better but that's about it. This was the only disappointment of the night. He played a solo during Mistreated and it was the most boring and annoying solo I've ever heard. The croud was almost put to sleep.
Here is the set list in no particular order. (I very well may be missing something from the "main part", but it's only natural I don't remember everything - people around were smoking so much - I, unlike the president, inhaled, but did not smoke).
