The following is a review of a Dio show of the second leg of the Angry Machines European tour, originally mailed to me. Republished here with permission from the author. I had to edit the layout a little bit for better outlook on web, but all the information is still intact.

I saw Dio at Vega in Copenhagen 26.2.97 and here is a short concert review.
The band seemed to be in very good spirits, they were smiling and laughing throughout the show. Ronnie kept on thanking the audience and shaking a lot of hands. He still sings like a young God. His voice was in excellent condition, incredible. How does he do it after all those years?
I enjoyed the show very much although it was a bit short only 80 min. And I did miss the Dehumanizer songs that they supposedly played on the US tour last year. I hope that they will come back soon and play a full two hour set. The highlight ( and surprise) of the show was probably Catch The Rainbow, nobody sings it like Ronnie.
Here is the set list in correct order.
Best Wishes,
Paul Deblond
