Rainbow: Long Live Rock 'N' Roll tour dates

Rainbow warmed up for REO Speedwagon on this tour at least on the West Coast of the USA. They also played with Cheap Trick co-headlining shows, at least on July 2nd they played before Cheap Trick. At some shows there were other bands too, they supposedly played before Rainbow every time. Most of the audience were Rainbow fans, though, and often most of the people left after the Rainbow set.

Some sources say that Long Live Rock 'N' Roll tour started already in 1977 when Rainbow played in the UK. I've listed those dates in the On Stage section of these tour date pages.
